The Hastelloy Fasteners are made up of Hastelloy material, which is a superalloy of nickel, chromium, and molybdenum. It has an addition of tungsten and iron in its chemical composition, and they are extremely resistant to corrosion at high temperatures. There are different grades of the Hastelloy Bolts material and most of them were made for high temperature applications. The material also shows outstanding resistance to highly oxidizing and reducing agents, which is why the Hastelloy hex Bolt can be ideally used in moderate to severe corrosive environments.
Apart from the above properties, the Hastelloy threaded rod is also known for offering good resistance to thermal creep deformation. They are known for their excellent mechanical strength, and strong durability, especially in the reducing environments.
